Discovery Call Virtual Assistant

It’s all about onboarding new clients! While most of the process is automated, a discovery call cannot be automated .. and that’s where you come in!

All questions, general dialog & scripts are provided but you will need to think for yourself and improvise based on the conversation. Then compile those notes and send them my way. Calls, plus note compilation, should be completed within 20 minutes. On average, I do about 11 new client discovery calls, however, there are peak months. Peak months tend to be January, April, May, October, and November.

Requirements:

  • Independent Contractor position only for US-based virtual assistant
  • American English must be your native language.
  • You must have a pleasant phone voice chock full of enthusiasm.
  • Think fast on your feet in relation to coming up with additional questions to get a better picture of everything (a.k.a. don’t rely on a script .. think for yourself).
  • Must be available Mondays & Wednesdays and on the Eastern Time Zone (US). Other weekdays are also on the table, but not required. You would be responsible for doing all calls when I travel. Only in the rare instance do I have calls scheduled on weekends or outside traditional office hour (and I’ll be glad to keep doing those .. you need your work-life balance).
  • Willingness to obtain a Google Voice Number to use for these calls is preferred.
  • Willingness to use an online scheduler (we use Calendly).
  • You must go through a short, but thorough paid training, which will include role-playing.
  • Solid knowledge of how to use:
    • Google Drive
    • Google Hangouts
    • Asana
    • Slack
  • You will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement and Non-Disclosure Agreement.
  • Estimated hours/month: 5 to start
